Laughter Yoga
Can you muster a SMILE? Regardless of your mood? Sure you can. Even a forced smile will do. YES! Once you get your smile going, hold it. Bring on deep slow abdominal breathing. Then squeak out a ha on the exhale. Or if you're in the mood, enthusiastically utter Ha, He or Ho repeatedly. At some point your laughter probably will begin to flow because of the ludicrousness of it all. "Hahahaha!"
Yes, laughter yoga is happy, joy, ecstasy in reverse. It is Laughing intentionally to feel good. Maybe even Amazing!! To practice, laugh at everything!! Laugh at yourself in the mirror, those poor coffee beans getting pulverized in the morning, cloud configurations, fluttering leaves, wiggling your pinky finger, it doesn't matter! Like any practice, the more you do it the more readily it comes. And then, what do you know?? You are laughter!! "Ha Ha!!"
Laughing together with other humans can be contagious, connect-ful and celebratory. Whether laughing alone or with others, Laughter Yoga is YES! It brings about proactiveness, creativity and insight. It allows you to loosen up and alter your lens.
